Country Breakfast Grits Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grits
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 sausage links or crumbled, or Bacon
  • Butter, cheese

Directions:

  1. Cook grits; stir in butter and cheese.
  2. Fry sausage/bacon and eggs.
  3. Layer in bowl and serve hot.

Optional, because it’s just the way I grew up, I add 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon of evaporated milk to my grits…I like it sweet…delish!!!
