Ingredients:
- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 bag of mini marshmallow
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Layer yams in a baking dish. (baking over boiling seals in every drop of flavor of the yams)
- Melt butter; stir in sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
- Pour mixture over yams; cover with foil.
- Bake 30 min, uncover, then bake 15 more with a marshmallow cover until caramelized.
